Code of Ethics

Code of ethics.

We implement a strict arbitration system using the double blind modality. All evaluators are distinguished by their renowned prestige in a national and foreign level in the branch of philosophical research. Aitias assumes an ethical obligation abiding with the best academic practices by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), published in https://publicationethics.org/. Consequently, publishing in this journal must be done so in accordance with said guidelines and, concretely, with the publishing norms (see the publishing standards section).

The journal is mentioned, compiled and quoted in diverse national and international indexes and databases. Publishing in it doesn’t entail incurring in any expenses nor does submitting the papers to a rigorous evaluation.

Prevention of plagiarism

As part of the actions for the prevention of plagiarism, the AITÍAS journal uses the iThenticate similarity detection software to review the manuscripts sent to the journal. The acceptance of the same is left to the Editor's consideration based on the percentage obtained and a review of the document.
