Abstract

This article aims to make a reading of the lecture given by Alain Badiou on the attacks of
November 15, 2015 in France that allows, through the central theses of the author, to make
a reflection on the way in which the structure of the world is constituted and forms nihilistic
subjectivities in third world countries, especially in contemporary Mexico. With this, some
theses on nihilistic subjectivities in the third world, the multiple forms of extreme violence
that stalk us and the possible ways out of the situation we are in will be presented.
