Abstract

The following article contains the most elemental thesis of Adrian Johnston’s proposal named “transcendental materialism”. With them we can understand the singularity of his materialist position, as well as establish the relations and differences it has with other materialist perspectives of the tradition, we can algo mark a strong counter-weight to the transcendentalist tradition in the wake of idealism.
