Abstract

The following article presents the outline of the concept of everyday aesthetic identity. We start definining what is speculative aesthetics, later, with the help of Levina’s philosophy, we characterize aesthetic identity in contraposition with the idealist and phenomenologist accounts of subjetivity. Finally we show how the reflections on everyday aesthetics have relevance for this new conceptualization of subjetivity.
